January 5th Update

La Canada News:

Thatcher

5, yes FIVE, kitties found forever homes!! Thatcher and Phoebe found brand new families to call their own, and Claude, Nalo, and Oreo were officially adopted by their foster families! Congratulations to our new pet parents...and foster failures!

Santa Clarita News:

4 kitties found homes! Cello and Banjo* were adopted together, Timmy was adopted, and Checkers was adopted! Congratulations to these 4 kitties and their new families!

*On January 6th, Cello and Banjo were returned to Happy Strays Rescue for being 'too high energy'. 

Piccolo

Rescue News:

Two of our special needs kittens, Hope and Piccolo, will be spayed this week. Hope had to have surgery to remove an eye after a dog attack and Piccolo was born with a genetic eye defect. Both girls will need homes soon, and we are desperate for donations to cover Piccolo's spay. Hope has a wonderful sponsor, but Piccolo doesn't, so we need donations for her care. Please contact us if you can donate towards Piccolo's care or would like to meet one of these special girls! Piccolo's foster mom can be reached at Lexie@happystrays.org.

We have 8 kittens that will be available for the first time NEXT WEEK! 6 of these are cuties that will be available at the Santa Clarita Petco, and 2 of these will be available at the La Canada Petco! Jem and Scout will be available at Petco in La Canada (see picture) and Olive's babies will be available next week at Petco in Santa Clarita! Olive's babies are about 5 months old and Jem and Scout will be 10 weeks old. Let us know if you'd like to meet them--lexie@happystrays.org! We will get back to you with our adoption application right away!
